1 stars (Wasted Money......) - Wow, I know that I can be a fool, but I was definately robbed of $16.00, even after reading the front and back of this very deceiving book! I mean, I know that I need help with anger, but this book just seemed to make me ANGRIER! I spent $16.00 on a wanna-be Bible (Something I could have gotten for free at my FORMER Church) and the contents only seemed to anger me more! Not only did half of their text not make sense, their descriptions of anger and recognizing anger only seemed to categorize the entirety of this country! The verbage used and perspective in which this ~story~ is told borderlines an autobiography of a man named "Tom". If you like a good bedtime story, like to waste time and money, and do not need real anger management help, then by all means buy this "novel". My opinion~ Dont waste your time or money, you already wasted enough reading my review! Kyle.... 5 stars (Great help!) - This book changed the way i veiw anger. Yes, i am a bible believing Christian and this book does use the bible as a source of reference. I learned so much about my anger and the anger of others. It encouraged me and gave me tools to work with to choose to control my anger. I can't wait to read their next book! I also understand how to respond better to angry people. It is a real eye opener! 5 stars (Anger Managment) - This workbook provided immediate results on how to deal with anger. I did not believe anger was an issue with me until I read and understood anger also comes in the form of frustration and irritability. In reading and working through this book I found that I have a choice on how I respond to situations and it's up to me to decide how I will deal with issues in my life. Wounded Heart- A Companion Workbook for Personal or Group Use

5 stars (Great resource for helping!) - This book and the accompanying workbook are great resources for the support groups I have led for the past 5 years now. There are many women whose lives have been changed as a result, including my own. 5 stars (Brought great healing) - Last year, I worked my way through the book and study guide. When I first began reading the book, I wanted to throw it across the room, and was angry that the author would even insinuate that I was sinning. Well, he was right. I was so filled with self-contempt and rage, and so chained up in the prison of abuse, that I would almost rather rail at him and run, than admit that I was existing in a state that was eating me up, inside and out. I had been holding myself separate from God, not allowing Him to bring healing for the past horrors in my life, dead from the numbness I had created to protect myself from pain. Through this study, and the pain, tears and difficult struggles that accompanied it, great healing has been taking place in my life. I am thankful for Dr. Allender's obedience in writing this study, and I am grateful to our Lord for using it to begin my journey of restoration and healing. I can highly recommend this book to someone who is tired of living a life behind the prison walls of childhood sexual abuse, someone who is willing to go through the pain of 'looking at' the abuse one last time and grieving for the child that was destroyed inside himself/herself. If you are willing to finally lay all of the pain and hurt and shame and rage down on God's altar, this book may be what you are looking for. 5 stars (Diagnosing and Treating the Wounded Heart) - "The Wounded Heart" is a classic text on the understanding and treatment of the sexual abuse victim. Dan Allender writes from a foundation of biblical insight, psychological research, and counseling experience. Allender is quick to defend abuse victims and to help them to understand that they were not guilty for their abuse....

It changed mine, and continues to do so. 5 stars (A Course in Miracles) - A great book that goes into great depth of explanation about life and the biblical meanings in life. 5 stars (No Matter What Your Path This Book Can Only Bring You Inner Peace ) - This is a three volume edition that comprises of the Text, Workbook for Students and Manual for Teachers. I must say that the teachings and messages are beyond profound, where there is so much truth that leads to inner peace. There might be a few lines that seem different, and it is great to question them and then read further to gain a deeper understanding. This book goes beyond religion. It is all of our divine birthright to our connection to God, Holy Spirit, where there is unfailing guidance at every moment of life. This book teaches this to you. It teaches the true meaning of forgiveness, how when we see each other as extensions of our self, we see the oneness we all share, and our divinity as equal spiritual beings at the same time. This text can lead to the end of all wars and suffering, because truth is revealed so simply. It is always the simplest truths that once understood lead to peace on all levels and in all areas of life. If some of the text feels different to what you have been taught, that is okay. 5 stars (Un Repaso Perfecto) - Repaso was used as my school textbook for higher level Spanish courses in high school. Everything is great about it. The instructions are in English which makes it even more compatable. The book is able to review old concepts, but has enough to teach the little proper things about Spanish. It is a great purchase for any student that is just learning Spanish or has been taking it for many years and needs a reference. 3 stars (No Answers Given Here) - Although I agree that this book is certainly a bargain when compared to the standard textbook options that often cost 3-4 times as much, I was disappointed to find that no solutions to the exercises are provided. One must purchase ANOTHER book before the exercises in this book can really be said to be useful. I am a firm believer in immediate correction when it comes to language review and acquisition--spending time on exercises without knowing which you did wrong will only reinforce what are your misunderstandings of grammar. However, if you are willing (and able) to buy the solutions manual along with this book, then it will make a good review--though it won't be the bargain that it at first appeared. 5 stars (The most complete review around!) - If you had Spanish in high school but it's been a while since you've used it,then this is the perfect book for you! It begins with the simple present tense then progresses to the more complicated preterite and subjunctive. 5 stars (a great study book) - we're using this book in our Women's Sunday School class, and it's a great book. Easy to read and understand. 4 stars (Good stuff) - Just started going through this material, and I am really being blessed by it. Given my own theological background, I can't say I agree with all of it (when do you find something you always agree with!), but I really like the overall emphasis: it's not about you, it's about GOD! You can't just fill in the blanks; you've got to think about what they're saying, and apply it to yourself. Then I think the lights will come on, and the Spirit will start pointing you toward a radical God-centeredness. I was studying this book along with the book of Jonah, and the parallels are neat. Anyway, this book is helpful. Good stuff! 5 stars (A Practical Book) - As strongly implied by the subtitle, "How to Live the Full Adventure of Knowing and Doing God's Will," this book is about application. In fact following every few paragraphs there is a section of reflective questions that summarizes the key points and help you to put them into a context for your own life. Blackaby and King describe personal experiences, but subordinate those to the Scripture. Some favorite examples from the Bible are used repeatedly in the various chapters. Model prayers are included at the end of each chapter to assist a person in praying targeted prayers. If a general theme could be drawn out from the book it would be: a relationship to God is more important than any work you do for Him. That's the essence of the book. The authors say as God reveals to you what He is doing, He invites you to join Him in His work. Consequently, listening in prayer is more important that speaking, according to this premise. ...
