5 stars (Best FPS deathmatch game at the moment!) - UT2004 is likely the best deathmatch FPS game out at the moment! I've been playing its deathmatch mode since UT2003. Way more fun than CS or HL2 deathmatch! And if you get really good, you can win an entire match without ever dying! How many games let you do that?? In CS, you can get killed with a lucky shot by a newbie. But UT2004 deathmatch requires real skills. Heck, if you're good enough, not even the redeemer can kill you! Play online...it's a blast! 5 stars (Redefines fast pace deathmatch!) - Take everything you like about Unreal Tournament 2003, multiply it by 100, and you'll get this. This is simply the best UT yet! I've never thought it would be possible, but here it is! Somehow, the developers manage to combine the speed of UT, the size of UT2K3, and they added the potent potion of vehicles. The result? The best deathmatch FPS there is. That is generally the gist of it. I played UT and absolutely loved it. I played UT2K3 and liked it somewhat because of the huge maps, but I quickly became bored because of the slower speed. UT2K4 combined the best of both games and added vehicles to make the fight even more chaotic! There is nothing like a 16 man match while you're flying in a plane blowing your enemies away! Even better, download a huge map and fight in a arena the size of a video game city! Unfortunately, the only flaw of the vehicles system is that it's only available to Onslaught mode and that the vehicles doesn't respawn, which seems extremely short sighted of the developers. However, this is quickly solved by going online and downloading the proper mods to make vehicles available to EVERY game and to make it respawn. After that, you will never look at UT the same again! Basically, this is what the game cuts down to. Pros: -Unbelievably huge maps -Runs very well even for PCs that are not high end -Is a lot faster than UT2K3 -New modes of gameplay and improved weapons cache Cons: -Too many... 4 stars (Awesome game! Well worth picking up!) - This game is great! Especially with the free downloadable Editor's Choice and Community Bonus packs. The vehicles in the game are excellent, the grapics are beautiful (especially the large outdoor areas), and the weapons are all pretty well balanced. Sweet game! 5 stars (UT 2004 rocks...) - This game is just unbelievable. Fun in first person mode, but absolutely loads of fun online. HIGHLY recommend Onslaught and InstaGib CTF. The vehicles are awesome and well balanced. A foot soldier with a couple anti-vehicle rockets can take down a tank if the driver is unwary. I play this game as much as possible. It's so much fun and well done that there are other games on my shelf that I have yet to play. Honestly, at this point I don't need any other game! =) 5 stars (UT2004 Rocks) - I must say that I have been playing UT2004 for some time and the multiplayer and multiplayer AI is the best I have seen yet. I give it two... three... maby five thumbs up. ... Atari :: Shooters (Shooter) :: Action :: Computer Games :: :: Unreal Tournament 2004 ( CD-ROM )

The DVD-version is a great option to have (if you have a DVD-player drive to use it), and it's the same unbelievably low price as the CD thing. I can't really say much else that hasn't already been said, except this: don't forget to download the bonus pack. It was released by Atari, and has some new vehicles, some more even cooler skins, and nice maps. ONS-rules. Don't think about it, just BUY THE GAME...BUY THE GAME...BUY THE GAME... 5 stars (Beauty coming out the wazoo) - And yes, that's a good thing. The first time I saw this game I literally scoffed at it when I saw the June 2004 release date. I have to say though, that this is truly a mind-blowing game. I have never before seen in my life so many widely varying weapons, game types, characters, and maps, of which there are probably 200 (no, seriously). All but a few of the couple hundred maps are unique, gorgeous, well designed, and awe inspiring, with giant horned skulls vomiting lava and everything! Several of the maps have low gravity too. Weapons are amazing, and the _only_ dinky one is the one that you start with. The rest of them are sickeningly overpowered, Including a hand-held nuke! They number ~21 in all, and you can even choose custom targeting reticules for each one. Characters, like everything in this game, are here in spades. I'm not sure how many there are, but most of them are very cool. In addition... Atari :: Shooters (Shooter) :: Action :: Adventure :: Computer Games :: :: Unreal Tournament 2004 ( DVD-ROM )
4 stars (Something to do with your roommates) - This game is a great way to kill time. Me and all my buddies have big matches in our dorms, it's so much fun. The rocket launcher isn't as good as prior versions and the single player is pretty limited in what you can do, but honestly this is an online game. 5 stars (Enduring Gameplay) - This has been one of the most refreshing games I've bought in a long time. It's got amazing detail for a first-person shooter and a good variety of gameplay types. The best thing I find about UT 2004 is how expandable it is. You can find a great variety of maps, weapons, characters, vehicles, gametypes, practically anything online. Not since the days of Bungie's Marathon series have I seen a game with such a great ability to create new ways of playing (although unfortunately they do not have the editing tools for Mac). It's also not a huge graphics hog...I run this on an 800MHz G4 w/ 32MB video card and 768MB RAM (which is technically under min. specs) and I get great performance and graphics on all but the biggest, most complex levels. Just make sure you have the hard drive space: it's a 6GB install and any add-ons you install can mount up quickly (I added another 2GB within a few weeks). All in all, if you're looking for a FPS that is expandable and offers a lot of replay value, this game's for you. 5 stars (Im NOT a shooter fan BUT COME ON!!!) - If youve ever heard of this series u know it comnes out evey year....so why buy it now you say? Because this game is SO TIMELESS!!! YOur friends and your friends friends will talk about this one for centuries! And even once youve seen EVEY INCH of the game you find out YOU CAN DOWNLOAD MORE!!! And did i metion the multi player? It WAY BEATTER that Halo. AND FOR THE FIRST TIME THEY ACCTUALLY THROW IN A GOOD SINGLE PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!! Graphics: 9/10 For how much is one screen its the best of 2004 Fun:10/10 .....................HOW CAN IT NOT BE FUN?!?!?!?! Controls:9/10 Just your av...
