3 stars (A great read for everybody, and good advice for extroverts) - This was a very enjoyable read. The manner in which the author tells his story is very engaging and imparts some useful techniques to the reader. The type-A's out there may be able to use many of the techniques the author talks about. The rest of us, however, will be left wondering if all these things could have possible happened to one person. Truth be told I haven't read the last fifty pages. My dog decided he wanted to taste the author's work, and frankly, not being an extrovert, I did not feel compelled to pick up another copy for the last few chapters. 5 stars (Great book about breaking through the glass floor) - "Never Eat Alone" gives some excellent advice regarding developing relationships. Ferrazzi starts off by stating you really need to begin by finding your own passion and mission. Additionally, to build strong relationships you need to ask, "What can I offer?" rather than "What can I get?" Ferrazzi has an excellent writing style that is easy to understand and read. He gives some great suggestions regarding how to "ping" casual contacts and keeping in touch with people. Ferrazzi is a "follow up" maniac as he states you should continually follow up with people even if you don't hear back from them. I guess that depends on your viewpoint. There isn't much to like about this book. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to be able to develop their relationships. 5 out of 5 stars. 5 stars (Simply worth it) - I do not buy many books. 5 stars (Clear and simple book on situational leadership) - I am a fan of the One Minute Manager series, having read "The One Minute Manager" and the "The One Minute Manager Meets the Monkey." This book tells the story of an "entrepreneur" who seeks advice from the One Minute Manager. In the process, it covers the basics of situational leadership in a concise, easy to read style. The text covers the four basic leadership styles -- directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating. It also discusses matching a leadership style appropriate for various development levels. Like the other One Manager Manager books, I see myself re-reading and referencing this text. Highly recommended. 4 stars (Treat Right!) - Always a great fan of Ken Blanchard, I find this book with its Teaching Techniques to the Leaders who need to understand the basic style of 'Treat Right' to its employees and not walk blind to the belief 'Everyone should be treated Equally'. One Minute Manager hit the stands but this book has additional skills to increasing Effectiveness through situational leadership.The authors focus on enhanced motivation to individual employees and apply better management skills to get the most desired results from them. To begin with 'Goal Setting' brings in a commitment for accompliment and make the individual understand their duties to reach target goals. Written in a conversational manner, easy to read and understand, the book makes manager bring out the best by 'Be competitive and commited' motto. Like a stand-by Guide to Leaders, the contents help Leaders to derive best performance. 5 stars (It Has Everything) - This has more clip art then I will ever need! 14, I repeat, 14 CD's full of clip art. It has vector and raster images, web graphics, high res photos, and backgrounds. The variety of clip art is amazing. I will highly recommend this clip art to anyone in need of high quality clip art!!!! 2 stars (comic book illustrations) - drawn by a 5-year old. I'm sorry, most of the vector and raster illustrations contained here are of very poor quality in my opinion. And, like some of the other reviews, I was not impressed w/ the photographs. Looks like someones bad vacation photos in spots, I counted 8 out of focus exposures of what looks like a hawk or something at great distance. Who got paid for that junk? I will keep it, but only because of the classic illustrations on a couple of the discs, and the fact I got a rebate. 2 stars (Don't Buy it for the Photo Images) - I have been searching everywhere for a product featuring professional, diverse photos. Where have they all gone? I am returning this product because I have no use for clipart and the photos are clearly pulled from somebody's old photo albums. They are no where near the professional quality shown on the box. Many photos are dark or horribly formatted and/or just plain cheesy. However, I am very impressed by Nova's "No Questions Asked Money Back Guarantee." Hooray for that! ...

2 stars (Transparency Problem) - This product is very nice when it works. However, I'm having the same problem as the reviewer below me. When I attempt to export the image - either by saving, draging or copying, Hemera places a transparency over the object, making the product worthless. I gave it two stars because, for the two months it worked, it worked well, however, now, it won't work at all. And as the other reviewer stated, support is nearly non-existant. 1 stars (Can't use this program) - This product offers much to chose from and I really liked the photos. However, I have yet to get this program to work right. I am able to view the photos but when I go into the the Export Wizard to save the photos, the photo has a transparency over the top of it, instead of in the background. I tried bypassing the Export Wizard by right clicking on the selected photo and saving. This also inserts the transparency over the photo. I called Hemera in Canada and they instructed me to call Encore USA in CA for support. Encore USA said they couldn't help me. Encore's technical support is "limited to crashes, error messages and lockups". I also referred to their website hoping to find help in the knowledge base or FAQ's. There was VERY little about this software and no help to be found. I wasted my money on a product I can't use and that offers no support for issues out of my control. 4 stars (Best value Hemera offers, but a few cautions) - First, if you're thinking about using these photos for print, you may wish to think again. Most objects run between 300-600 pixels in width or height, or 1-2 inches at 300 DPI. Stretch them bigger than that, and they'll start to blur and/or get jagged. Also note, that if you try to export/save an image from the Hemera Image browser and select the 300 DPI setting, the browser may stretch the graphic larger than it's actual size, causing blurring and jaggedness right out of the gate. 3 stars (Great beginning - but I wish for a bit more) - As a freelance web designer/graphic artist I live in a perpetual state of stock photography desperation. I bought this BizArt package in the hopes that it would give me at least a starting point of business photography into which I could reach for those jobs that just don't warrant getting the expensive stuff from Getty or Corbis. On one hand I love this set, on the other I don't. I confess I was hoping for more full-frame photos, even though I know Hemera is mostly known for its "photo objects". There are some, but not always enough of the type I've wanted. My other complaint is a lack of diversity. Most of the group shots of people are standard caucasian yuppy types. As someone who prefers to represent more diverse racial makeups in my designs, this was very limiting and disappointing. I have frequently had to resort to taking a person of another nationality out of one group and try to insert them into another - not a time-saver. However I do use the clip photos provided here often as a good basis for other pieces. Not a set you want to rely on solely as your source of business photos, but a good starter for the price and a lot better than many cheaper sets I've seen around. ...
