1 stars (Far too basic...) - ....to be useful. Learn colors, time, food, and numbers, but you won't learn how to pronounce anything on your own or put a sentence together, let alone learn any meaning of the words in the few sentences they offer to teach. If memory serves you well, you can parrot the few sentences, but overall you'd be better off taking a bunch of pictures of the same items and pointing and grunting when it comes time to communicate. Also, quite a few of the words they want to teach you are english derivatives, like auto, bus, telephone, cola, etc. Save your money, find another resource. This is more game software than educational. 4 stars (Not Bad for an Introduction to Hungarian) - I wanted to refresh my Hungarian after being away from the country for a while. This is a good course for building a beginner's vocabulary. The interaction and the games are engaging and interesting, but the skill level was too remedial for me. I finished nearly all the lessons within 24 hours. I wish the lessons were more advanced like what the German and Spanish versions offer. My only real complaint is that the software introduces no grammar or conjugation, just word recognition and pronunciation. 5 stars (awesome language software) - This is a very helpful tool. The software helps very much in vocabulary and pronounciation. It makes it easy to gain a well rounded vocab, more than just survival phrases for the traveller. The software is enjoyable and easy, teaching you at your pace. I am very glad I bough a copy, it's well worth the twenty bucks. ... 5 stars (The Perfect Study Aid) - Cliffs AP is the perfect study aid for the AP Biology Exam. It covers all the material you need to know for the exam, at the level of specificity expected. At the end of each chapter there are questions that are similar to those you would encounter on the AP exam and an explanation given for each answer. Also possible essay questions from each section are given with a detailed summary of what information is important. If you know everthing in this book it is very easy to obtain a 5, just like I did. *Note that the exam has changed and there are 100 multiple choice questions and not 120 as mentioned in the guidebook. 5 stars (An absolutely amazing review.) - Just go and buy it. The other books in the contest aren't even worth talking about. If its in this book, it might be on the AP test. It's also a godly review for regular tests. 5 stars (Great AP Bio book-- Not just for review, but it can teach too) - This is a great AP Bio book--all the information is plainly laid out, along with practice questions at the end of each topic. It really helped on free-response. This book will help on SATII bio too--seriously. I just wish I had gotten this earlier in the year so I could have really studied everything more in-depth instead of just skimming (my class completely skipped plants and kingdoms), but I was still able to get a 5. I credit this book for that. ... 5 stars (Superseded by a better second edition) - When industry leaders such as Cem Kaner and Bret Pettichord extol the virtues of this book you can be assured that it is great - everything they and other reviewers have said is on target. Moreover, you'd be hard-pressed to walk into the testing area in any company and not see a copy of this book on someone's desk. That said, instead of this book you should get the second edition, which is a major rewrite, and also expanded in scope to include testing mobile systems. This edition is titled, "Testing Applications on the Web: Test Planning for Mobile and Internet-Based Systems" ISBN 0471201006, and is everything others have said about this first edition - and more! Even with a better second edition, this book deserves the five stars I gave it because of the influence it has had on the testing profession. Moreoever, this first edition is not out-of-date, and is still a great book if you don't need information about testing mobile web systems at this time (although it's a safe bet you will in the future). 4 stars (Organized and professional) - This book is about web testing in general, not just performance testing, and is a must have for the professional testing engineer. Chapters 7 and 8, on performance and scalability give a very good introduction to the subject, and include a great sample performance testing plan. Michael Czeiszperger Web Performance, Inc. Stress Testing Software http://www.webperformanceinc.com 5 stars (Superb introduction to the complexities of web testing) - I have been in web testing for 3.5 years and this was the first book I found on the subject. My only complaint is that it took so long to come out, but I won't hold that against Nguyen or Wiley. It is a superb introduction to the complexities of web testing, which despite the protests of standalone application testers, is much more difficult and technical than traditional application testing. Not only does the tester need to know the...
