Mastering Astral Projection

5 stars (Simply the best training book on the subject) - From all the books I have on the subject, this is the first that can be used as training material. It's comprehensive, easy to use and read, and the reader isn't bored to death with lenghty oppinions by the authors. They present everything that you need to know in an easy and fun training program. 5 stars (Practical and not overwhelming) - It is very important to be able to follow people who have experience with a subject. If someone has done it before then I know I can do it too. Great book, well written. 5 stars ( Mastering Astral Projection vs Astral Dynamics) - While defiantly not as technical or detailed as his other book, Astral Dynamics, Mastering Astral Projection provides the techniques in a much more structured format. I had owned Astral Dynamics for over a year, periodically doing some of the exercises, but unable to make any real progress. By the end of the first month of using this new book my energy body was buzzing all day long and even my normal dreams were being regularly transformed into OBEs. The affirmations plus the additional exit techniques make this book unique from its predecessor, but most important for me was the day by day structure which forced me to take the time and do the work needed to be able to consciously project. Behold a Pale Horse

1 stars (Ruse, Hoax, Fallacy) - Yes, Bill Cooper really instilled fear in many people didn't he? Now, do not get me wrong, this book was an interesting read. I did find it to be a unique piece of fiction. I basically have two words: Conspiracy Theory. Wait, here's a third word: hoodwink. Theory-no, it's not even theory. It's a hoax. I feel that there could possibly be some truth to his book, but only in immeasurably small bits and pieces and sporadically. I cannot fathom the Area 51 alien story and the reason behind the Kennedy murder plot. When I got to that part in the book, it pretty much became comical to me. Please understand you can believe what you want to believe and I am about the only one who has given this book a low rating. I suggest one should pick up their Bible for all truths, and not to look to Bill Cooper for answers. He was just a man, and yes, he is now gone. I am only sad this rating cannot be a zero. But one is good; just for the comic relief, the unique fictional storyline. Someone asked me to read it and let me borrow their book. This person told me to keep the book hidden and if I wanted to buy a copy for myself, use cash and try to be quiet about it. They told me they were followed after purchasing the book. Let me explain something to you-this book is a ruse, a joke. This man found secret documents on an old copy machine? How convenient is that? How convenient is it that Bill Cooper of all people was able to get TOP SECRET documents off of some old garbage copier? And he recanted the alien stories? How about the AIDS epedimic, the Kennedy asassination, the presidents all being part of a satan worshipping society? Has anyone really thought about the real reasons behind some of these terrors? Behold a Pale Horse , it is in the Bible, how much of this did Bill Cooper derive from the Bible? 5 stars (Really Thought Provoking....) - The material is all gleened from hypnosis clients - no proof. However it resonated with me as the most logical of realities. -In my world it gave me a feeling of a paradigm shift. -- I now better understand the odd pairings of children and parents, the compulsions and the feelings of "out of sync" in a whole new light. I would highly reccommend it to people interested in the "whys" of life and the "where do we go from here". 5 stars (Revealing!) - The best book I've ever read regarding reincarnation, past lives or where we go between lives. This is my favorite "gift" to give to anyone. Dr. Newton shares his case studies with us in a very understandable format that makes the reader not want to put the book down. 5 stars (A life-changer) - A life is transient--we're born, we live, we die--but the soul goes on, born into a new body, gathering experiences lifetime after lifetime. These accumulated life experiences influence the current, active lifetime on a subconscious level,and some traumatic experiences leave troubling footprints on one's current life. Dr.Newton (Ph.D.)shows through case histories of patients who have been "regressed" (scientific and verifiable), that a contemporary stumbling block can resolved by identifying the trauma that created it. For example, a mystifying pain in this lifetime can be a "soul memory" of an injury in a past life; or a current pathological fear of water is from a "soul memory" of drowning in a past life. Then there are the souls who are so deeply connected that they have share many lifetimes as siblings, and close friends, and spouses. 5 stars (Great for a Novice Like me!) - Mr. Cunningham explains Wicca simply and right to the point. He dispells all the myths and gives meaning to the true Wiccan art. I am going to purchase more of his many books on this subject, since I am a novice and have much to learn. If you are also new to exploring Wicca this is the book for you! Ladybug 4 stars (Practical Guide for the Solitary Pagan) - This book is not Wicca as we know it in the UK, it represents a natural and gentle path with little ceremony and much personal magick. Its beautiful. If you are a newbie and looking for something to help you on your path then this book will help you a great deal. But remember that no one book can tell you everything there is to know about a magickal and spiritual path, so read it alongside other books on magick and wicca. Books by Vivianne Crowley, Ronald Hutton and David Rankine would be a good start. The practical exercises and tips throughout is very valuable, so don't just read them, try them out! Golden Tarot Deck

5 stars (I finally found my deck!) - I can't tell you how many decks I have looked that just didn't "resonate" with me! The traditional Rider-Waite was just too ugly for me, and some other decks were just too weird or out there for me. This deck combines my love of art with tarot, and it is perfect for me. The box that it comes in is perfect to keep the cards in (no need for a different box or tarot bag), the book that comes with it is thorough and she gives ideas for spreads and what the cards mean in both upright and reversed position. She offers a lot of insight into the cards and the process of their creation. My only complaint (no big deal to me) is that the cards are hard to shuffle. 4 stars (This deck's so pretty) - I have been following the Golden Tarot online before, and when I have finally decided to get my first tarot deck, I chose Golden Tarot. After I got the real deck, I was a bit surprised to see how "shallow" the images are because there seemed to be a lack of sense of space in the images. But afterall, they are made from collages of many other paintings. All in all, I am happy with the deck because the images are really pretty and they convey very deep meanings behind. About the booklet, it provides basic and adequate information and instructions for the deck, but half of it was in fact references to all the painting images the author has used. If you would like a more in-depth tarot book for beginning learning tarot, you'd probably need to get another book instead of relying on the booklet in the package. 3 stars (Simplistic imagery but great for beginners) - I guess the cards are pretty, but the lack of symbols makes this a rather simplistic deck that leaves me cold. Colours are ok, nothing striking, but really rather clichey. If you go to the website [...] and like them great but notice how little the comments on each card are and look carefully at how simplistic the cards. Definitely for beginners. ...

Gives great insight into the magic of animals. 5 stars (The pioneering work on neopagan totemism) - This is the book a lot of the others try to be. (Unfortunately, a lot of them don't progress beyond this basic point). One of the first books published on neopagan totemism, Animal-Speak deserves its good rep. It's a very thorough introduction to animal totems and provides a lot of working material without spoonfeeding. The totem dictionary is detailed, but there needs to be more emphasis on the fact that this is what *Andrews* gets out of each animal, and that individual results almost always vary. "Animal-Speak" gets 5 stars mainly because it pretty much was the first of its kind, is well-written and is a book basic resource. ...

Many Lives- Many Masters- The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist- His Young Patient- and the Pas

3 stars (An Underutilized Course Of Therapy) - Weiss' study of reincarnation as revealed by hypnotized patients is interesting but mildly superficial. It left me with many more questions than it ever attempted to answer. I also noted an instance or two when the historical settings Weiss' patients were describing did not sound historically accurate for what was actually going on in the time and place in question. (i.e. a suit of rough fur clothing in 1400's Holland?) In a few case histories, the lifetimes of a single subject overlapped. I know there are theories of parallel lives/parallel universes, but just pointing out that this did come up on occasion or two. Whether a patient hypnotically "regressed" is giving details of a valid previous incarnation or experiencing a fantasy, there is enough evidence that has been accumulated over the years to suggest regressive hypnotherapy is an effective means of healing for some people. Perhaps the spiritual aspects of "do we live numerous earthly lifetimes" should be set aside and more emphasis placed on employing regression as a method of psychological treatment. Professionals such as Weiss should be at the vanguard of a potential health-improvement tool that has been squandered for too long among New Age gurus who would keep it shrouded in pseudo-spirituality and make use of it primarily as a parlor trick. On the other hand, does understanding the root of a fear or other issue truly guarantee healing? No. I have a friend who is terrified of dogs because she was badly bitten by a German Shepherd when she was five. Does the fact she knows what caused her fear erase the phobia? No. And "knowledge equals healing" is the entire basis for past life therapy. So, maybe making more widescale use of regression therapy is not a panacea, but then again, many patients claim it worked in their lives, so perhaps it should be used more widely. My point is, it's past time hypnotherapy vacated the genre of mysticism and entered the realm ...
