5 stars (Lovely presentation, innovative ideas) - One of the reasons I love this book is its gorgeous presentation. Let's face it, at least 50% of a book's appeal is how it is photographed and laid out - this book gets an A from me. There are a few projects that are quite "Meh" (like the knitted crowns - though I think my daughter will love one) but the ideas are wonderful. It is worth a look. A small "notebook" is included inside the front cover, it is just knitter's graph paper but a cute idea even if I won't be using it. Knit a window/door screen with nylon thread? Why not? I also love the armchair cushion - I am inspired to find an old leather chair just to make that cushion. Another favorite is the little knitted "lanterns" meant for adding to a string of lights. Wrist warmers have been done to death, but here they are photographed on a model holding a guinea pig - I have to admit, I am charmed :^) A lot of luxury yarns and new ideas for knitting. 5 stars (irresistible for the adventurous knitter) - I LOVE this book. I got it 3 days ago & already have 2 projects started from it! The patterns are so well written; clear & concise. The photography is beautiful! And there are truly new & creative things in here! I love the creative "exercices" sprinkled throughout the book, like "describe your dream knitting day". Or my fave, is to "write down all of things that prevent you from being creative as you want to be, put them in a bag, and throw the bag away". It is a beautiful book that even my non-knitting friends love to flip through! 5 stars (Another Interesting New Entry) - There are a lot of very new, modern knitting books coming out as of late and this is one of them. The approach is away from the ordinary - the knitting most of us grew up with in the 1960-1980's. This book has some great patterns with versatility and it also includes ideas which are following the popular "salvaging" trend - using up old knitted items in new ways. 5 stars (Excellent help) - Although the information in this book is new to me, and seems a little complicated at first, it may very well be the help I need for my nervous Terrier. 5 stars (Great read ...) - This is a great book ... very well written and very thoughtfully written. I enjoyed reading it and Kristen Leigh Bell is obviously knowledgeable; I also appreciate that she takes a cautious and conservative approach to usage of EOs in animals. That being said, I bought this book specifically to learn how to use EOs with cats, and learned that you really can not use straight EOs for cats - hydrosols only. So, while that is great to know, had I know that in advance I likely would not have purchased the book. Still a great read. 5 stars (First Rate!) - Since I have three beloved little dogs, I am a person devoted to providing the very best for my little furry friends. This book has been a lifesaver in caring for them. It has given me so many options for behavior and/or health disorders. Kristen Leigh Bell is apparently the "expert" in her field and it shows through and through this book. If you are interested in natural provisions for animal care, I would wholeheartedly recommend this book. Definitely an authoritative guide. ... 4 stars (Buy This Book! (but fire the editor)) - I am 56 years old and began lifting weights for the first time in my life at age 54. That was 19 months ago. I bought this book about 18 months ago and it has truly been the "Bible" for me ever since. The substance of the book is excellent. It has detailed exercise instructions and photos (primarily dumbbells oriented, some barbells) and the recommended workout routines are great. The nuitrition advice and diet suggestions are also very helpful. I've lost 50 pounds of fat and increased my strength over 200%. I've bought 2 other workout books since getting the "Bible" and I always find myself returning to the Body Sculpting Bible for guidance in my workouts. Why not 5 stars? Because the editing stinks. The typos and layout mistakes are obvious, distracting and give an amateurish, self-published appearance to the book. Luckily the reader can usually figure out what was intended from the context, although in one workout an exercise is just plain wrong. I know so because the author maintains a web site and is very good about responding to reader questions and correcting the editorial oversights. The publiser should really consider posting .pdf errata sheet. Despite the poor editing, I recommend this book and its advice. 5 stars (Best Body Book I've Read!) - I've never written a review before, but I was so pleased with this book that I felt I should to help others who may be deciding between one workout book or another. Not only have I seen great results by strictly following this book's training & nutrition plans, but everything is written in such a straightforward and conversational style that it makes you feel like you've got a trainer right there with you, taking out all the guesswork and giving you all the necessary pointers along the way. I've read plenty of conflicting info on fat loss and muscle gain over the years, and this one just makes sense! 5 stars (Results are what matter most... A Superb Resou...
