5 stars (Another Quality Hallmark Program) - I have had Hallmark software for 4 years running now. Falling in line with the others,this version producing great cards for all your family and friends to enjoy. 1 stars (Hallmark Card Studio) - I wrote upon returning the product that both Hallmark and Amazon should be ashamed to send such a poor product. The colors on the card were not good and the software was so faulty. It would print the sayings on top of each other, not centered. I had an earlier product from Microsoft that had beautiful cards and selections that I used for many years but got outdated and would not install. I asked and hopefully have received a complete refund. 5 stars (Easy to Use) - I love how you have everything in the project can be manipulated so easily. When I bought this I was worried that it would be difficult for this 70 year young senior. It produces top quality cards for every special occasion. I find myself making cards for my family and friends just for fun. ...

5 stars (Needs Expansion but good game) - Ive been a huge fan of the first and when i heard about the second i counted down the days and finally it came out it was amazing much better then the first great graphics tons of options and Extreamely fun online and its free and 8 people can play at once and can make alliances and betray your allies and then NUKE them like crazy or use spys to make there reasourses posines or just make a huge army of GIANT robots and go slauter your enemy so as you can see theres tons of differnt ways to play 15 ages hundreds of buildings and dozens of units however if you got a crappy computer it will lag but its still fun so throw out War Craft or Age of Empires because the KING of RTS is here so buy it log on and kill 5 stars (FROM Cavalry Riders TO ROBOTS from Pitch forks to NUKES) - now me and my friends always would play the first together online it was a blast But one day one of my friends logged on and said that they are making a sequel WOW! so we waited until finally it came out but it wasnt as popular as we whould have hoped we were woried it may have been a stinker but when we got on we saw that it was in fact the KING of RTS it truely feels like you are in an actual war with weather blood stains However it does lagg a little but its worth it dozens of years to choose from TONS of civilzations and the Max POP is 2000 WOW the campaign may be a little boring but scrimishes rock and online play unimagineable 1 stars (Doesnt work) - The only good this game is good for is crashing your computer. when it works it extremely slow and unplayable. You have to hack the configuration files just to get it somewhat playable when it should work right out of the box. The developer abandoned support. If you get it working for the 10 minutes that it does work the graphics are terrible. Empire Earth 1 is better, the graphics were better and the game was playable. What happened this time?? Do not buy this game. Save your $50 and get Rise...

Dragon Tales- Learn - Fly With Dragons

2 stars (Better for the younger set) - This game markets itself as appropriate for 4-6 year olds. I bought this for my 5 year old and she beat it in less than 30 minutes. The game itself is extremely short - only 6 activities. This may be better for 3 and 4 year olds just learning to count and learn shapes. But for those already competent or even familiar with them, its a waste of money. 5 stars (Fun and Educational) - My four year old enjoys this. The look and sound of the software is the same as the PBS show. Some of the activities my four year old can do by himself while others require some help from mom or dad. The software gives directions for your child to follow. There are activites such as counting and shape sorting and other activities that require an understanding of bigger/smaller, up/down, etc. We have about four computer games. In order of preference our son likes Dragon Tales followed by Little People Farm/Airport, then Clifford Thinking Adventure and then Finding Nemo. Overall, Dragon Tales Learn to Fly is a good value that runs well on my older Windows 98 system. 1 stars (doesn't work, and poorly supported) - This game does not work on a Powerbook that can't change its resolution to 640x480. That includes most of the older Powerbooks on which you'd be likely to be running children's software. In addition, the error message you get is just plain wrong: it complains that the color depth is wrong, even when it is not. So I looked in the manual, which was incorrectly formatted for the Mac (contained gremlin characters at the start of every line), and this issue was not even mentioned in the trouble-shooting section, nor was the requirement of a 640x480 monitor mentioned anywhere. So I called Scholastic, and went around twice with their automated product-selection menu, which insisted that it has no products for the Mac starting with "DRA" or "LEA". Finally I got a human, who put me on hold for a while and then explained that the softwar...

The Bard-s Tale

1 stars (Should have finished the game) - I wanted to really like this game with its mixture of wit, ribald humor and poking fun at computer games in general I thought it would be a great game. But, I found a bunch of problems instead. First it doesn't work with my video card resulting in a bizarre problem with the sound. No fix was placed on the web site. It does work with my labtop but work in the case of this game is a relative term. The game play is very clumbsy and this simply isn't fun at all. So I'm quite sorry to say I can't recommend this game even if you find it in the bargain bin. 3 stars (Occasionally funny/entertaining, some flaws) - The humor and the musical interactions within the game are first rate. It was almost like watching a play at times. The music was very entertaining. The twists in the game were entertaining and I played the game through to the end because I enjoyed it. I wanted to see what they'd do at the end. But there were quite a few flaws. The alleged "non-linear" aspect of the game is highly misleading. There are very few choices to undertake at all. You have to do A, to get to B, to get to C, etc. At least you need to do that to succeed. While you certainly could visit certain limited places almost immediately, you'd get killed mucho pronto if you did. With all the sparkly effects and in game rendering of cut-scenes, they would almost always slow to a crawl. While I'm sure the screaming cutting edge machines of the developers ran all those auras around the creatures nicely, my machine (which beats the recommended configuration) couldn't handle them, even with all video controls turned to the minimum. And at a certain point, nothing can stand in your way. Even the Bosses were a pushover. No real strategy was involved, except some minor tweaking of your party. And the "less A, more I" was not that accurate. My party frequently did very stupid things, and didn't follow orders hardly at all. Overall, it was entertainin...

SWAT 4- Special Weapons and Tactics

4 stars (swat just keeps getting better and better) - yup this one is the best uptil now.they have brought very good effects in the graphics and video department. 4 stars (Nothing worse then minor blemishes) - This is a fundamentally great game with a few minor shortcomings. The gameplay is pretty solid - realistic physics, many options for solving problems (and many different tactical problems that require solving). The difficulty levels make a reasonable degree of difference - that and the behaviors and random placement of bad guys and hostages means that the game is extremely replayable. The AI of your team is better then any of the other SWAT games (though it seems to me that they use scripts - they occasionally go places that make absolutely no sense based on the tactical situation, such as right into the line of fire). Terrorists and hostages have similarly impressive behaviors, lurking or trying to sneak around behind you. And I've got to give a lot of credit to the level designers. There are some levels that were so creepy and mood-setting that they left me with my knees shaking. The problems I find are very minor. Occasional AI lapses do occur, and sometimes members of your squad get inexplicably stuck on world entities - I had a couple officers get trapped in corners and unable to extract themselves. Also, the squad interface isn't nearly as fast or efficient as Rainbow Six 3 was - in this one, you have to drag down a list to make orders. Sometimes, the list isn't nearly fast enough for the situation. But all in all, this game is rock-solid, engaging, and plenty challenging. I recommend it for fans of tactical shooters like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. 3 stars (Need a serious re-work on A.I.) - The game is the best of series, but really need to improve de A.I. 5 stars (Baldur's Gate 2: The Ultimate Collection) - Marvelous! It took me three weeks to get it awary from my son. Had to give him a guilty conscience so he'd tell me where he'd hid it. 4 stars (Older game, still very much to be enjoyed.) - Baldur's gate is a great game. It has been out for a while, but still today the game experience is very much enjoyable. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the graphics, being a little outdated. 2 stars (Disappointing. Only 1 of 3 discs is Mac OS X compatible!) - The packaging is very deceiving. Only one of the 3 CD's is Mac OS X compatible, Although the other 2 do launch, they launch in OS 9 emulation (classic) mode. OS X has been out for what, 5 years and they haven't upgraded all their software yet! Very disappointing ...
