5 stars (another fantastic inovation...) - when this first came out i wasn't sure i wanted it. the psp seemed worth the wait but when it came out i read all the horrible reveiws and i talked to a bunch of people who owned and i actually tried it. to put it simply, it sucked. then i tried the DS, and it was awesome!!!!! the touch screen is an amazing innovation in the gaming world and i love the dual screens. the games are a not so plentiful but by december more should be out. sorry sony and sony fans, the Nintendo DS beats you by a mile... ps- the DS is half the cost of the psp 4 stars (A blue version of Nintendo's second most current handheld gaming machine) - Due to the release of the Game Boy Micro last October, the Nintendo DS currently stands as the company's most current portable handheld system. This system is equipped with two screens, an upper screen and a touch screen. Pinnacle Studio 9 Media Suite - Video Editing Software Suite

5 stars (Great Home Editing Software) - Media Suite is a great sowtware combo! It's includes four discs and two manuals Pinnacle Suite: You can do just about anything a home editor needs to do using this suite. (I would not recomend it porfessionally) The green screen effect is good but hard to perfect it so you cant tell there was a differant color there first. All the effects are great. You get large variety of them in this pack. Though there are still houndreds of dollars wirth of eother effect, songs, special effects, etc. That you have to buy seprantly. The controls are very compliated it took me about two weeks of playnig around with the program until i felt truly comfortable using it. Steinberg Wavelab: This program has a very small amount of features but what it does have is complicated. Your can record audio as long as you like and then add aprox. 3 effects choosing from a list of 20. It very easy to take out or add in parts of audio (edit) Corel Photobook: Have have only used this ounce but from what ican see see you can do simple edits on pictures. The tools are much like those of the microsoft programs. Pinnacle Instant Copy, Pinnacle DVD Recorder: I have used neither of these. 1 stars (Software HodgePodge that never works as advertised) - If you want to spend time creating videos this is not the product for you. There is a reason that they are on Version 9, 8 previous poor products and counting. Installation crashes are normal and product support people know nothing about the product. Every upgrade (you pay for) introduces new problems or takes away previous capability and applying their patches are risky at best. Don't buy it!!!!! 1 stars (Do not spend your money for this Software) - This software has serious memory problems. It can not run smoothly and froze my computer on a regular basis. Podcasting- Do It Yourself Guide

5 stars (Excellent resource and guide) - I've been listening to Todd's podcast for the past few months and have decided to join the podcasting bandwagon. The book is very well written - covers all of the topics required to define, create, record and publish your podcasts. The book saved me countless hours of frustration and pointed me in the right direction for recording equipment. A great book for anyone thinking about getting into podcasting or understanding what podcasting is all about. 4 stars (A solid introduction to Podcasting, told by someone with a lot of in-the-field experience!) - As someone who is only just dipping my digital voicebox into the podcasting ocean, this DIY Guide was extremely useful. It guides you through the basics of setting up on the computer you've probably already got with a cheapo microphone and freeware audio editing with Audacity. It also shows how a few more steps can lead to a far more professional sound with relatively minimal effort and expense. I also like the frequent "notes" which highlight important terms and ideas, many of which I know, but some of which were new. Cochrane's explanations are always easy to understand. The only downside is that this book was released before iTunes support for Podcasting became the pod-word of the month. While the iTunes influence might be slightly over-hyped, it is changing the podosphere. Perhaps a second edition of the DIY Guide will come out early next year and give us another healthy survey of all things poddy. 5 stars (Podcasting The-Do-IT-Yourself Guide by Todd Cochrane) - The book "Podcasting: Do It Yourself Guide by Todd Cochrane" is a great book. Pantone ColorVision Spyder 2 PRO Studio PC - Mac

1 stars (I'm dissappointed and frustrated) - I have a laptop and a 2nd graphics monitor at home, and bought this to calibrate both. I adjust the sliders on my IBM T40, and the Spyder software doesn't "see" that I've done it, although it's conspicuous on the LCD screen. The second monitor? It won't even recognize it. Over $200 wasted. eTrust PestPatrol 2005 Anti-Spyware

3 stars (Average Product) - I was not that impressed by this product. It found some spyware, but I found "Scan Spyware" [...] software to be much more comprehensive and offer better protection. I am in no way affiliated with that company, I just like their product. 5 stars (Pest Patrol Review) - This excellent product removes all manner of spyware and keeps the computer running at top efficiency. 5 stars (Blows away the competition) - I have installed this on multiple occasions, many times on PC's which were virtual "typhoid Marys" with many instances of spyware. Some PCs had "Spybot" or "Adaware" or some other such product which was having no positive effect in either identifying, let alone eliminating, the threats. After installing and running this, the program provides very specific instructions and explanation of what's going on. You can set up automatic updates for complete protection going forward.
