5 stars (Slick, Extraordinary!) - I downloaded the trial version from the company's website and decided to buy the full version straight away. The interface is different than standard Windows applications', but is clean-cut. I have no diffculty to build several testing albums following the simple steps dispalyed in the first starting page: select photos > select music > select style > change settings > build (save). I also figured out how to edit the saved albums in the My Album list. This is the most inspiring slideshow software I've ever seen. The result is definitely extraordinary. I've been able to create a wedding video using the 3D-Album animation (there are many adds-on for weddings) for the introduction part and the conclution credit at the end. I also created a photo slideshow displayed in a wedding reception. The pastor told me that he's been in many many weddings but this is the best show he's ever seen. A good value for your money. 1 stars (Terrible- Do NOT buy it) - I downloaded a demo version and made a few slideshows. First, it is very difficult to make simple changes. Not a typical interface software for performing simple functions that a normal program would have. There is no bottom for saving, nore a bottom to start new. You have to open a new sub-directory to retrieve pictures to start a new slideshow. And if you delete a set of pictures on the working directory, it actually deletes them from the actual subdirectory. You may have to get back to retrieve them from your recyle ben. It took me a whole day to figure out how to change simple funtions since it really has a bad menu system. The slideshow runs so slow, can't find a place to speed up the show. THey need a 24 online support system since there is no place to find an answer. There is no "find buttom" for the help menu for where or how to change the speed. There are much fewer OCR errors than 6.0. 1 stars (ALERT -- BIG ERRORS in the posted reviews) - The posted reviews are *not* about "Fine Reader OCR", they are aboout the "Lingvo" dictionary...... 4 stars (10x cheaper directly from ABBYY) - This software costs only $40 if bought directly from the seller. ANy ideas what Micro 3 Corp is, and why is sells it for $300? Go to www.abbyyusa.com. Overall, good dictionary, found it very useful. Software could have been written better, so I'm upgrading from version 6.5 to 9.0, hopefully they improved the soft. But still the best dictionary on the market in my opinion ...

3 stars (Delivers as Advertised, but Lackluster Performance) - GMP/FranklinCovey PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook 3.0 works as promised. However, there were minor problems and annoyances that got me to uninstall the software. For example, the software relies heavily on the .NET framework, and this often caused lockups that required Outlook to be restarted. I liked the single view of my calendar, e-mail, tasks, and notes, but the interface needs updating to provide the look, feel, and funtionality of Outlook 2003. It was obviously designed around Outlook 2000 & 2002/XP, and therefore didn't harness some of the features of Outlook 2003. Overall, it was an average product that I give 3 stars. 1 stars (swtester) - If you want your HP printer driver to be USELESS, then buy PlanPlus. I purchased version 3.0 hoping the solution would be fixed -- it was not and after four years of having time to fix the problem. Readers beware PlanPlus sw has had a bug in it (some say on purpose) to shut down most HP printers for the last four years unless you use a generic driver for the printer. Why is this the case? Well it is not hard to understand when you note the company makes great profit on its hardcopy planner page sales. Having SW that can print out planner pages, while they are trying to sell their own pages, was probably a bad idea by the company and their only solution is to sell the software but make it conflict with printing software. 2 stars (If you have a Palm, stick with Version 2.0.2--3.0 and 4.0 (xp) don't sync) - Like many others, I too am a Franklin user. I started with PlanPlus 1.0, and while it did work, I found that the 2.0.2 release of PlanPlus was reasonably stable. For Pocket PC users, there seem to be no synchronization problems with the Version 3.0 and 4.0--not so for PalmOS. Bottom line, Franklin has yet to fix palm synchronization errors with Version 3.0 and 4.0. If you've got a palm, buy V2.0 to get the license, and install the 2.0.2 trial versio...
