Gamecube - Lego Star Wars

4 stars (A good GameCube port of a surprisingly-fun game) - This GameCube version of Lego Star Wars was released a full six months after the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions of the game, an odd decision considering the frequently-assumed target audiences of the different consoles. Even so, this delayed port is nevertheless a very solid one, and gamers who have Cubes can pick this one up knowing it looks and plays just as well on this console as it does on the others. Lego Star Wars is a game that is forgiving enough that children will enjoy it (i.e. a character who gets "killed" is simply resurrected nearby). At the same time, also has a few challenges that will give adults a share of fun. The game features a VERY large number of unlockables and extras that can only be completed by collecting certain items and collecting large enough numbers of the game's currency (known as bits). Some of the levels are not terribly difficult to beat - but can be challenging to beat with sufficient numbers of bits, some of which are lost when a character dies. Of note, Lego Star Wars also has an easy-to-use cooperative feature, which is a great deal of fun regardless of the age of the people you are playing with. The presentation of this game is outstanding. The graphics are beautiful and glossy and portray the "Lego" and the "Star Wars" both wonderfully. The cutscenes are funny and capture well the storyline of the first three episodes even though there is no voicework to speak of. John Williams soundtrack is here and the game even has the appropriate tracks for each level. Hearing that trademark "Darth Maul" anthem during the duel with the Sith is a real treat. There are only a few drawbacks to the game. One, it's a bit on the short side - an adult could probably plow through the entire campaign in 6-8 hours. Imperial Glory

5 stars (Hard to get bored) - This is a great strategy game. If you ever wondered what empire-building during the Napoleonic era was like, this is the game for you. The game is thoroughly researched down to the level of the uniforms and weaponry, and the military units manouver in the precise manner described in military history books. For naval warfare buffs, it brings new realism to naval strategy games, allowing for the wind factor and the accuracy of the guns. Be warned, however, this is a game for hard-core strategists, not for the shoot-em up crowd. If you consider yourself a cognoscenti of military strategy games with more than a passing taste for history, give this one a try, you won't regret it 4 stars (Napoleon , Blucher, Wellington....! sword, musket and cannon) - Imperial Glory covers the mid point in European imperialism, The game mainly plays out the Napoleonic Wars combined with the industrial revolution. All this lumped together in a campaign that well, is longgggg. Quick battles (land and naval)are great and stimulating. They include a pause, real time point and click order, with very slow to very fast speed of play and the naval side has a wind gauge. The campaign AI is designed to play out as if it were the 1791-1820's, (3 levels of difficulty)with each nations armies evenly matched to some degree. One the best games covering the the age of Napoleon. 4 stars (Fun easy game.) - This was a fun game to play. It was almost as fun as Medieval Total War. I removed 1 star for the combat interface. Combat on land is fine, it was similar to the total war series. The naval combat is where I removed the 1 star. The naval combat can be confusing if you have more than 3 ships, you send off a ship in a particular direction, andyou forget why you sent the ship in that direction ion the first place. It would be nice to issue orders while paused. Not only that, the empires are not truly balanced. Playing campaign mode hardest level of difficulty, England...

GBA Lego Star Wars

3 stars (good game but flawed) - This game is very fun but you stay in the same ship for the whole game. 5 stars (My 6yr finally has an age apropriate action game he loves!!!!!!) - This has been a relief, he was playing other SW games and the were so realistic it was boring! Now he has color and sound that is fun, he learns about collecting and saving points and trading them in for things he needs to move up in the game. The characters are enjoyable and far from scarey in their Lego form. 1 stars (the worst game in existence) - it sucks sooooooooooooooo bad!if youre 11 and you think that killin a droid and havin it explode into lego pieces is dumb,go you!horrible graphics and no dialogue.not worth my time/money.i got ripped off!dont make the same mistake! ps.it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ...

XB Lego Star Wars

4 stars (Don't miss out!!!) - Put it this way, I hate Legos but I love this game. I actually have been playing all the other star wars games trying to find a "regular" game that I like but I think I'm gonna have to go with the Legos (its the best star wars game) 4 stars (Nicely done!) - I'm a fan of parodies, from Weird Al, to Thumb Wars. This has to be the best one I've seen in a while. The sequences between playable levels are really funny & well done, using the original music & sound effects from John WIlliams & Lucasfilm. I'm also a fan of all the Star Wars games, which I've began plaing on the old arcade game which was a simple vector-lines based game, to the Nintendo, SNintendo, Nintendo64, and XBOX systems. The playability is very good, especially considering the simple controls. It's nice to be able to have 2 player co-op as well. WELL DONE! 5 stars (X Box Lego Star Wars) - I bought this game for my 9 yr old and 6 yr old. They love it and have a great time re-enacting the different movies through the lego action figures of the game. My 6 yr old has a little bit of a hard time playing but with his brother's help he's getting it. I like this game because 2 people can play at once together, this in my household elliminates fighting over the controllers and taking turns. ...

PS2 Lego Star Wars

1 stars (the game is fun, but the gamecube version is better...) - lego star wars is a pleasant surprise. don't be turned off by the kiddie lego graphics, because it's a great and entertaining game. the only reason i've given this a poor rating is because the gamecube version is a prettier and much better playing game than this one (and it's cheaper!). 4 stars (Mixed at first, but good) - I bought this game for my son and try to play it. To my dismay I found out that it was on the blue CD which didn't play on my PS2. So I attempted to return it to the store that I bought it from with no luck. In a desperate attempt to not feel like I wasted $40, I decided to buy a "Fellowes DVD lens cleaner." It's a DVD that has little brushes on it. But I tried it and it cleaned my PS2 and now I can play the game with my son. I know a lot of people have had this problem, so I hope this will help them also. The game play is pretty cool so far... I'm still getting over the initial agrivation. But I can't take that out on the game its self, It's a great game for all ages. 5 stars (Excellent and Fun for all ages!) - It is an awesome game. My child and husband loved it. It is very entertaining with a lot of things to do and to look for. Is not difficult and is very fun to play. The graphics and the scenes are very cool.
