4 stars (Great fun at first, but doesn't have much depth) - My 2 year old is a huge Pooh fan, and of course took to the good graphics and sound in this game right away. Some of the activities were rather non-sensical, but many were quite entertaining. Some of the counting and language excercises were very creative. The problem is that after we completed all of the activities and visited the bithday party (which took about 4 sessions), there was nothing else in the game to hold his interest. 5 stars (my son loves this cd-rom) - we've had this cd-rom for over a year now and my son still plays with it often. he's easily bored, so that says a lot. this cd-rom offers many activities and one can change the levels for a more challenging interaction. it also contains cute songs and is visually beatiful. this is a great product! 4 stars (Pooh fan) - I bought this game for my just turned 2 year old because she is a big Pooh fan. Some of the activities are a little hard for her but there are enough levels to keep her occupied. It seems like a great value because she will be able to use it for a few years and the price is so low. ... 5 stars (very satisfied) - I have purchased this family edition for of course my family. It is a great time to get the family together and a learning experence at the same time. Once you start playing it you dont want to stop. I highly suggest this to anyone who likes game shows and wants quality time with there loved ones. The children are learning with out any fuss with the kids addition. Sports edition get my husband and my son time together and my husband even learns new information. The 3rd edition we all play. Now my daughter is only 4 and a half she gives some answera and some mom helps her on. The reaction on her face when she gets them correct she cheers for her self . 5 stars (MY FAMILY AND I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CD!!!) - This Computer CD game is great!!! Used it on a laptop with Windows XP...works well!!! My kids loved the kids version (even my teens loved it!) I love the traditional game CD!!! My husband loved the sports questions!!! There's something for everyone. I bought it to play on the plane on vacation, but we can't stop playing it!!! I HIGHLY recommend this game!!! ... 2 stars (not the best) - This is a very bad game because when you ride your horse all you do is jump(a bird chirps when you have to jump)boooring i should have know better to have the pictures fool me. yes they are colorfull and sound fun but trust me there not. this is just a cute game no challeng involved! i only love the part were you pick a horse and decorate her. i am obssesed over horses i guess thats why i bought it. you should get barbie mystery ride. that is a better game. see my review for it!!! you will know its me because my name is melisa. melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa-melisa 4 stars (Afternoon of entertainment) - My daughter loves this game. She picked it out and bought it with her own money. It is her first computer game and she could spend all afternoon on the computer, if daddy and mommy let her :) She is 6 years old and it is easy enough for her to use with out our help, but it also keeps her thinking. Plus this way we don't have to answer the old "Mommy will you buy me a pony?" question, as the computer game has many to choose from. 2 stars (Disney's Princess Dress-up not so magical!) - We got this as a present for our 4yr old. When it worked she loved it. Concept is good, but it is limited in what you can do and the product is faulty. We had to reinstall everytime only to get one sitting out of it. To get your own photo for a model was difficult--you had to go through a separate process that only an adult could do and it didn't look very good. The CD didn't even last 4 months before it stopped playing completely (missing dll file). We take very good care of our cd's and are avid computer users, so the fault is definately with the product and programing. My daughter's gift turned into a nightmare of disappointment. ... 2 stars (Okay as games go) - This game is okay as games go. It is a little advanced for my 3yo to play alone. We also had lots of trouble installing it. I finally learned that with these types of programs on XP I have to just run the play.exe file. There is not a lot of variety in the activities, but the pictures are cute, and My 3yo can answer most of the activities and we can play the game together until she learns better mouse skills. 2 stars (It does work with XP) - But I was not impressed at all and my 2 1/2 year old son was not interested. 2 stars (disappointing) - We bought this mostly because our 15 month old has Jumpstart Toddler and we (parents) are sick of the same music over and over again (though she loves Jumpstart Toddler!) Unfortunately, this (Disney) is a major disappointment. Issues we have/had include: 1) CD required in drive to play game. Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to require the CD for toddlers??? My daughter had the CD popped out 4 times just the first time trying this program. (and crashed the system 3 of those times) I mucked with the registry and .ini files but was unable to get it to load without requiring the CD. 2) toddler needs good mouse skills. Most everything is mouse driven, and while some keyboard strokes did something, navigating required the mouse. 3) large delays loading games, breaks in voices. Since everything comes from the CD, there are large breaks in the game while loading animations, including breaks in voice over in the middle of sentences. Very choppy. (PII-300, plenty fast for other games - and old enough that I don't mind the toddler playing with it) 4) no immediate reaction to keystrokes/clicks some times. When the animation sequences are going on, no keystrokes or mouse clicks will do anything. My daughter rapidly lost interest because she'd hit keys and nothing would happen. 5) while my daughter is young for this game, she was unable to run the program on her own, requiring ... 4 stars (good games for the price!) - I bought this for my daughter on her 6th birthday and she fell in love. Your child gets to dress up and design their own princesses which is very cool. they also get to design their gowns with the Princess Fashion Boutique and the Magical Dress Up. You can also import your daughters picture and she can use herself in the dress up games. Ariel's story studio was just okay because there was not a lot of stuff you could do in the game. With the 2 dress up games you have to find objects for your wardrobe which can be fun. Buy this game your daughter will love it, you might even find yourself playing it like I did! ... 5 stars (yay for lizzie) - i have lizzie mcguire 1 and 2 but the third is the best. so many games (10) and also micros(worth 100) its way better, easier. i was simply stuck on the other lizzie mcguire games. this one is a keeper though! 5 stars (THE BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) - When I heard this game was coming out, I looked it up on the internet and seeing how neat it seemed, bought it. In the whole sceme of things, it's not so difficult but the first time you play it, it's kind of confusing. Each stage has ten micro games with a dance off at the end of the stage. A few of the 100 micro games are hard and some are unbelieveably simple. Some are obvious and you know exactly what to do, while others take a while and lots of thinking to figure out. Of course, the instruction booklet does not have directions for every game, so you have to figure them out. The longest micro game is ten seconds and the shortest one is a second. Yes, one second. See for yourself if you get the game. I am not wrong, and although it may sound stupid and unreal, it's true. After all, there is a reason why the games are called micro games!!(Get a hint! There is a reason why there are 100!!) The dance offs at the end of each stage are a bit tricky at first, but again, it all just takes a little getting used to. You start each new game with three chances. Chances are lost if you lose a micro game. When all your chances are gone, the game ends. You can earn more chances by purchasing tokens, which are earned by winning a micro game, winning a dance-off, and at the end of each stage. With the trial mode, you can see how long you can play micro games with only 3 chances and you are not allowed to use cards. This game takes about a half hour to complete (45 minutes sometimes) and I would not recommend it for long car rides. However, it does have replayability, meaning you can always earn tokens, purchase cards, and get new high scores. Over all, I think this is a cool game, I would not recommend... 2 stars (DO NOT BUY THIS GAME) - What a big mistake. I talked my daughter (6 years) into picking this game thinking it would be fun for us to do together since I like the kid games better. She says it is to hard to get Cinderella to move and gave up after half hour of fumbling. So I sit down to play and beat the game in one hour ten minutes. Cinderella is very hard to move and has bad response time. You have two paths you can travel on and they put things in the way so you have to jump back and forth from one another. Then you are a mouse and you have to travel through tunnels and gears or something to finish ( This was the best part of the game ) Then you have to pop bubbles. Anyway this game would probably be fun for a 3 year old IF she moved better but my 6 year old has trouble. Don't waist your money on this one. We bought magic Pegasus at the same time and this is a great game buy that one. ... 3 stars (cool, cool) - i dont have anything to say about this game except that its fun. sure! why wouldnt a game with 20 games suck! oh yah! when the games are less than 20 seconds! this lizzie mcguire on the go is one of the worst but it has a couple of challenging games-ie:when cheerleaders attack! so hard. it took me 2 days to beat 20 levels! ha ha ha ha ha. im a bad gamer but this game is kinda not worth it, unless your a totall lizzie freak and would love to spend your mind on lazy games that take no brain power at all! good luck 4 stars (Fun...) - I got this game for Easter and I think it is great, except it is too easy!! The game When Chearleaders Attack is kind of easy and and I wish the game had more games where you move Lizzie around. Anyway, I do like this game and it is fun to play when you are bored. 3 stars (fun in the bigging but.............) - this game was so much fun in the bigging but got so annoying later cuz it keeps repeating the same things over and over. i wish i could give this a 5 but it is true. ... 2 stars (herbie, what gives?) - i really wanted to play this but i have a ds! why should it only be for gba! and not for gamecube or ds or ps2. at least give it for 3 systems! ugh worst progress and unfairness since elf the game! :-( 1 stars (????????) - i dont know who to believe but by the demo i played and the reviws i think this game is horrible and im a lindsey lohan fan. 1 stars (Plenty of faffing around with little of interest to do) - Faffing around followed by more faffing around, and thats just on the over complicated option screens. Why oh why cant they just keep matters simple? Herbie fully loaded not only fails to add anything new to an already overworked genre it fails to match up to previous far superior racing games that have appeared on the GBA in the past. 4 stars (Soul Robber!) - If you are a fan of the movie, then this game is for you. The storyline sticks to the movie and you'll see all of the main characters pop up at one point or another. Gameplay is fun and can be challenging at times with a mixture of fighting and puzzle solving. The game is straightforward and flows smoothly from one scenario to the next. There are a few flaws in the game though, that really detract from the gameplay overall. The music, also (for the most part) from the movie, can be a bit repetitive as can the character comments. The camera is fixed so you are not able to look around, which can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when the scenery is blocking the action. You can agitate enemies to gain bonus points by slapping the soul robber (the main weapon) to the ground, this is a huge flaw because the camera zooms in on Jack and you can't see anything around him, which usually leads to a swipe or two from an enemy. Use of the soul robber also ilicits an announcement of "Soul Robber!" EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it, which is just stupid if you ask me and quite irritating. Also, the soul robber could have some more combo attacks since it is the weapon of choice throughout the game. The other character costumes, which come with other powers are used primarily for specific tasks and the soul robber can't be used with either alternate character form so you're stuck flame throwing (until your red souls quickly run out) or tossing presents and screeching "Merry Christmas" at everyone, which also has limited effect. The graphics are good but can be grainy in spots. The voice work is excellent, with most of the original cast from the movie lending a hand. Being familiar with the original movie pays off with some trivia games thrown into the puzzle mix. Overall, it is a good game that seems well thought out and true to the original movie. 5 stars (hi again) - im the one who wrote the we will see oogie fall review and you just ...
