1 stars (?) - Nintendo why have you made 7 mario party games. This is dumb ok if you want a "party" game play the first 6.........6! do you want your great great great great grand kids to be playing mario party 500 on the game triangle? they want you do buy stuff for the gamecube so that youll buy more stuff for the next consul. it is probably fun but i don't recomend 5 stars (Whatever will they think of next?) - When Mario Party 1 came out, evryone knew that Nintendo was going to take a huge leap in the world of multiplayer action. The sequel came out quickly and the game soon attracted peoples attention. But with the sports section being filled up, Mario Party was taking a bad turn. After a while, Mario Party 3 came out and the games began to fly off the shelves once more. When the Gamecube arrived, Mario Party 4 came right after it came out. 5 and 6 completely revoulutionized the gaming industry with the return of the microphone. But it would take some time before Mario Party reached the top of the gaming industry. Soon more company's started to take over Nintendo and it looked like the company would implode. Enter Mario Party 7! The best game for multiplayers {Except for Super Smash Bros. Melee! LOL.} now even more fun than you can shake a stick at! Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Boo, Bowser Jr, Toadette, and newcomers: Birdo and Dry Bones are all here to join in on the ultimate party of the century! But the most monumental thing is that you can have 8 people playing at once! Buy your copy today! Trust me, you won't regret it! 4 stars (The Party Returns) - The past few years have really shown that Nintendo has come a real long way with their highly acclaimed video game series for the Gamecube. Yet out of all of them, none of them has ever been as interactive as the Mario Party franchise. Since its debut for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, it has arguably been a well-recognized institution that has still gotten better with age. The last one, Mar... 1 stars (unlike any pc game) - this review is for pc version basically the game lacked any customization. but my biggest problem with this game is its camera system. You don't have free third person camera. The game is only top view similiar to RTS games. There are a lot of things missing in this game 1- camera is not what used to be ( previous harry potter games had mouse/camera free movement). 2- no mouse support 3- no video settings 4- no audio settings 5- no key reassignment. ... 5 stars (THE MOST WONDERFUL GAME EVER) - If my typing is a little lagging, please forgive me, I was up all night playing "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." Without doubt, the best game I have ever played. The graphics were so good that it was almost like being at Hogwarts. The snap-scene from the sixth book (where you get to be Snape killing Dumbledore) is the best moment of any game I've ever played, though Dumbledore is my favorite character. I was a little dissappointed that the plot of the seventh book was revealed by entrance to a hidden passage (near the portrait of the Buddhist-looking nuns on the fifth floor). It was the best thirty-second birthday present ever. I go to school in a small town in New York and all my first period studyhall teacher talked about the whole period was how good the game was and that's all everyone else has been talking about since. We're a little obsessed (this is coming from a person who has Harry Potter tattooed across his back). THE BEST GAME EVER. Buy it. Period. ... Unlike many other lottery programs that simply generate random numbers, Lotto Pro 2003 picks the best numbers to play based on a statistical analysis of previous drawings. The numbers that the program picks are called Smart numbers. When you play Smart numbers, there is no need for you to analyze any statistical information. 1 stars (USB doesn't work) - I tried the CD to install the USB connection between pen and PC. Failed so many times. I tried for one month, I decided to return it. And I hope I still can get full refund. 1 stars (Doesn't work with OS X) - I want to like this thing, but I can't, for it does not work at all with OS X. So, if, like me, you run Apples, just pass on by this page because the thing will not work for you. 3 stars (Not as good as the C-Pen 800C) - I'm measuring, first and foremost, ease and precision of scanning. Speed of scanning and ease of installation on the computer are, in my mind, about the same for both this, the Wizcom QuickLink Elite, and the C-Pen 800C. They differ sufficiently, however, in the primary question of ease and quality of scanning. For the record, I bought both at the same time, with the intent of keeping the better of the two. You can just go ahead and buy the C-Pen 800C. I have had one horrible experience with a pen scanner by Siemens, the "Pocket Reader." It was truly useless. It scanned so poorly that I just put it aside. By the time I though to return it, Siemens was no longer making it, and I couldn't get customer service here in the U.S. The Wizcom QuickLink Elite is not so bad. It's serviceable. I don't think it lives up to its 95% accuracy guarantee, but perhaps meets a 90% threshold, measured impressionistically. It's interface is also reasonable and satisfactory. However, the C-Pen 800C is even more precise, truly approaching 95%. Moreover, if you discount errors in spacing from this accuracy percentage, its precision is even higher. Whereas the Wizcom is just as likely to make a content error, misread letters, etc., the 800C's errors are more likely to be the absence of a space when there should be one. A rare missed space doesn't make you puzzle over the text when you come back to it two months later. C-Pen is also lighter, and it's rechargeable, so while it's more expensive, in the long run, you'll save on batteries. Bo... 4 stars (No Title(still)) - Knights of the Old Republic is the infamous 2003 game of the year. But the sequal is anything but game of the year material. I think that the one thing people liked about the first game was the detail, characters, and the plot twists. Okay, lets start in the detail. Once agian, the Bioware team knock my socks off with their insanly detailed character models, mabey not Halo or Metroid pixals, but it checks out in my book. Number dos, the characters. You once agian get thrown in with the oddest asortment of torture droids, jedi masters, and hot redhead bounty hunters. Thought some of your party members do reveal Revan's secrets -cough Keria- you can't find any party members famaly like you did with almost your whole party in the last game, although you do need some backround influnce to turn them into jedis'. The cameo aperences are extreme cameos, you see 10 seconds of Admiral Carth Onasi other than that, you have your two favorite droids in your posse (not C3-PO & R2), and HK-47 has some nice opions and voice recitings of Carth and the nice kissing scene with you and Bastaila, yep, HK heard it. The plot was intresting enough, but I think their should be better voice overs and less talking on Telos. I don't want to go too far into the plot, but heres a qustion before I leave. People and magazines hyped Darth Nithilus way too much and gave him a micro sized part in the game, why? Peace Out Shorties 1 stars (a disaterous hole in gaming) - WARNING:THIS GAME IS INCOMPLETE AND WILL LEAVE GAMERS FRUSTRATED AND BORED OUT OF THEIR RESPECTIVE WITS! That would be a good warning that Lucasarts could have slapped on the back of KOTOR2. This half-baked yet full priced game is a complete catastophe! So here is a joke. What do you get when you add broken gameplay, imcomplete storyline, confusing controls, and horrible graphics? KOTOR2 of course! 2 stars (Poor compared to Final Draft) - Movie Magic Screenwriter fails miserably in comparison with Final Draft. It is harder to use, less writer friendly, and very, very strange in terms of formatting. Many basic elements are not available in drop down menus and odd questions pop up. The positive is its compatibility with Movie Magic budgeting and scheduling. 3 stars (Lose your CD-Rom Forget it1) - Ok so I haven't written anytthing publishable in a while. So now I want to write a play for a contest and don't have the CD ROM. Try to uninstall it from two computers you no longer have. This is very frustrating as you need to insert the CD ROM to use the program. 5 stars (Movie Magic is magic) - Movie Magic is a very excellent product. 4 stars (Great for the money) - This product is great for the money, however keep in mind a couple of things. It comes with Video Studio 8 VCD which is not the full version of Video Studio 8 -- you can only make VCDs with it, not DVDs. That is a hugh limitation. If you only care about VCD, make sure you get the patches for VS8. But since you have VS8, you can upgrade to VS9 (full) for $50 which is a very nice product. I am able to do everything I want with VS9 including ripping scenes from DVDs as well as the VideoMPX capture device. Going this route, you save $50 on VS9 and get the DIVX encoder for free (a $20 value) which means the VideoMPX essentially pays for itself. Whether you decide to go with VS8-VCD or VS9, make sure you get the new VideoMPX driver from ADS Tech. The one it ships with has issues. After I got the new driver, it works great. 1 stars (it's awful) - I spent hours upon hours trying to get this program to work-no luck. Support line staff was of little to no use. 5 stars (great!) - i played the demo at wal-mart once and it's interesting but hard! you have to be quick to get it but the poeple are soooo slow!!!! the ghosts come out of a powerup and pick on the other player if you pick it up too. 3 stars (Okay game) - This game is okay. The graphics are good and there is a variety of mini games. The replay value is moderate. If you want a great Mario sports game, then get Super Mario Strikers when it comes out. It's a Mario soccer game. I played the demo and it was really fun. Get that instead of this. 5 stars (I have advice and more stuff.) - Use a different character like mario, you just didn't hit it close enough for a offence shot, or you hitted the wrong buttons. the offensive uses A+R or just A when it is fully charged. And the shots don't need to be charged for the little trick I mentioned earlier. The lighting cup is annoying in team mode. 2 stars (Major Disappointment) - "The Matrix" has been great entertainment for years: I love the film trilogy, I enjoyed the companion tales of "The Animatrix", but more relevant I enjoyed the "Enter The Matrix" video game (it's a 4 out of 5). So when I popped in this disc, and eagerly awaited the next installment in this iconic world...I was stunned! CONCEPT Players will assume the role of Neo for the entire film trilogy. Half of the game revolves around key sequences (Morpheus' rescue, or Neo vs. Agent Smith). The other half includes portions that add to the overall story. For example, 5 short tales are about Neo freeing the minds of The Matri'xs inhabitants. Gamers can improve Neo's abilities and powers as they progress through a simple upgrade system. GRAPHICS / ANIMATION ---The game looks solid enough, but the character models aren't very smooth and look a little blocky. The environments are nicely detailed, but there isn't much interaction with them. The martial arts combat 'looks' smooth, but collision detection has some serious issues. The walls are destructible, but the character models don't react correctly to their surroundings. Try to imagine a dark, gritty, and unclean "Jade Empire", and you get the right idea. SOUND ---The music doesn't stand out very much; in fact, it often becomes silent in the middle of cutscenes. The voice-acting isn't great, but rarely is bad. The only sore spots are actually when different actors quote the movies' lines. What's really strange is that when players use the Focus ability, the sound becomes muted and muffled. It's a really annoying experience. The guns sound fine, but don't have much of a punch to them. The martial arts attacks sound good, but also lack much emphasis to get one's blood racing. PRESENTATION ---This is the part that ticks me off the most. "Enter The Matrix" seamlessly interweaved "The Matrix Reloaded" footage with original cutscenes to create a good story. In "Path of Neo", the act... Atari :: ps2 :: the :: matrix :: path :: of :: neo :: atari :: games :: video :: games :: ps2thematrix-pathofneo 08 november :: 20 :: PS2 The Matrix- Path of Neo
